Preferential electricity prices for high-energy consuming enterprises are canceled in different places. It’s learned that preferential electricity prices in Ningxia provinces, inner Mongolia, Guizhou city, Guangxi province, some places in Hunan province have already been canceled, and the new electricity price raised 0.05-0.1yuan RMB/ watt-hour, which made ferrochromium manufacturers in great anxiety.

According to a ferrochromium manufacturer in Hunan province, although the market is weak, their production is normal, and high-carbon ferrochromium factory quotation is about 9100yuan/mt. While once the preferential electricity prices are canceled, their cost will go up, and the price will hang upside down, so they can’t keep production any more.

A manufacturer in Zhejiang province also said, the cancel of preferential price will have a great influence to ferrochromium manufacture, and the price will hang upside down to many manufacturers, so they will stop production.
